You can participate! September 11th's annual "Arlington Remembers" activities will, as they have since 2001, include the hanging of U.S. flags from overpasses and buildings. The County asks that building managers and residents participate and hang flags in a display of "Flags Across Arlington." The Chamber has encouraged this display every year in commemoration of those who needlessly lost their lives seven years ago. 

The County is foregoing their normal ceremony that included ringing of the bells. They will instead offer large-screen viewings of the Pentagon Memorial dedication ceremony at several locations throughout Arlington. The County will broadcast live coverage of the dedication at the following locations:
