Educational Opportunities
The
Chamber connects members with experts and programs that
can enhance business skills and knowledge.
Throughout the year, the Chamber
holds educational events for our members. These events
are tailored to meet the needs of the membership as well
as the current business client.
Here are some of the events we host:
SMART Start
SMART Start is a free networking seminar and Chamber
information session. They are held the first Wednesday
of every month from 7:45-9am. The purpose of the
event is for current members to learn how to get the
most out of their membership and for prospective members
to understand all of the benefits Chamber membership
offers. This forum allows for great networking and
education on how to get involved.
Small Business Roundtables
Join other business owners over lunch to discuss
effective ways to sell your services and products with a
small sales staff; exchange ideas on what works and what
doesn't. Bring your own lunch or purchase a box lunch
when you register.
Non-profit Seminar
Each year the Community Action Committee plans and
executes a seminar of interest to Arlington’s
non-profit community. This may take the form of a
speaker, a panel, or open discussion on a topic of
interest. The committee chooses the topic.
