Community Involvement

The Chamber and its membership recognize the importance of staying active in the community where its members do business. Through this involvement, the Chamber is able to keep a hands-on approach to affecting positive outcomes in the community. Get involved and join a committee!

Chamber Scholarship Fund
The Chamber's Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to several Arlington high school students each year. Funding is provided through the generosity of Chamber members. Donate to this fund.

Changing Places
The Education and Workforce Development Committee and the Arlington Public Schools sponsor "Changing Places" during American Education Week. Participants from the business community spend time "Changing Places" by observing, shadowing and interacting with school personnel. School administrators will visit your location to exchange ideas and meet associates within your organizations. Contact us for more information.

Leadership Arlington
Leadership Arlington is a vibrant, growing organization established in 1998 by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.  Its mission is to enlighten, inspire and connect leaders to strengthen the Arlington community. Leadership Arlington fosters a sense of community that motivates participants to become involved in Arlington's future.  The organization creates an infrastructure that will insure an ongoing source of trained leaders in our community by focusing on the application of leadership skills in a unique environment.  The current membership consists of almost 300 leaders in the Arlington community from the business, non-profit, and public sectors - and represents over 180 organizations.

Volunteer Arlington Day
Each year the Chamber's Community Action Committee coordinates Volunteer Arlington Day. This event connects the Arlington business community to member non-profits for a day of dedicated service.  For more information on this event, contact us.
