Breakfast Connection  The Breakfast Connection attracts professionals looking to utilize Chamber businesses. We use a ‘speed networking’ format during breakfast, and each attendee introduces themselves to several groups during the timed sessions. You get to give 60-second commercials, exchange business cards and meet a new group of professionals each time you rotate. If you've never tried a Breakfast Connection, you will find it is a great networking tool. Bring brochures, business cards and flyers pertaining to your organization to hand out. This is a great way to make the morning the best part of your day. Business After Business The Chamber's monthly Business After Business (BAB) functions are the perfect way to relax and network with fellow and potential Chamber members. Our BAB’s are held monthly at a different Chamber member establishment. It's a great way to end your day and win great prizes, including our mounting cash jackpot. Small Business Roundtable The Chamber's monthly Small Business Roundtable offers an important educational opportunity to smaller businesses. The roundtable discussion, facilitated by Jim Whelan, expert strategic planner with the ProActive Corporation of America, allows business people to learn from their peers and knowledgeable experts for free! The topic of discussion changes monthly, allowing attendees to learn how to enhance their business and increase their success in a different way each month! Fall Outing – This is one of the Chamber's premiere events and is held annually at an area golf club. The Fall Outing offers numerous opportunities to mingle and network. Annual Arlington Business Gala “Arlington’s Best Night Out”, has been the Chamber’s biggest event for more than 80 years.  Each year over 250 people join the Chamber at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City for a spectacular silent auction, dinner, dancing, and fun. State of the CountyThis is an open forum where a member of the Arlington County Board presents an overview of the economic and development status of Arlington.  This event offers attendees the opportunity to find out how Arlington is doing fiscally and developmentally. Volunteer Arlington DayThe Chamber’s Community Action Committee produces Volunteer Arlington Day. This event, held in the spring, connects Arlington businesses to Arlington Chamber member non-profits for a few hours of assistance. In recent years, this event has expanded to two days to include a Saturday as well as a weekday afternoon. Businesses and other interested organizations are encouraged to form teams – individuals are welcome, too. ABBIESThe ABBIE Awards celebrate the best businesses in Arlington. Each year, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce recognizes outstanding businesses in the community with a prestigious ABBIE Award. This award is earned by businesses that deliver exceptional quality of of service to their customers, are industry leaders or offer a unique approach to delivery of its goods or services, and display an interest in and concern for the Arlington community. Annual Meeting The Chamber’s Annual Meeting is the perfect way to wrap up the year's successes and commemorate our deserving honorees. Each year the Chamber invites an exciting keynote speaker, which makes this event a MUST attend. The Chamber announces incoming officers for the upcoming year and presents the honors of Chairman’s Award, Committee of the Year Award and President’s Award. The outgoing Chairman shares remarks for his/her past year of duty and conducts the Annual Meeting along with Rich Doud, President. This is a key networking luncheon and always draws large crowds. Scholar's Cup Annually, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships to deserving area high school students through its scholarship fund. The Education and Workforce Development Committee decided to grow the scholarship fund by creating an annual family-friendly mini-golf tournament. 100% of the proceeds of this event go to benefit the Arlington Chamber Scholarship Fund!  Attend the tournament, and join us in supporting a deserving and wonderful program.
